Leadership

Community Leadership Philosophy

Dr. Flemming approaches leadership as a practice of stewardship rather than authority. She believes strong communities are cultivated through intentional relationships, shared responsibility, and environments where people can contribute their unique strengths.

Whether building organizations, developing programs, facilitating communities, or leading collaborative initiatives, her goal is to create structures that help people and communities thrive beyond any individual event or program.

Accountability With Care

Members of Accountability With Care gathered virtually in a community centered on writing, research, reflection, and mutual support.

Founded by Dr. Flemming in 2020, Accountability With Care (formerly Writing Accountability) began as a virtual coworking and accountability space and has grown into a sustained community supporting students, researchers, educators, and professionals across career stages.

Rooted in care, reflection, and sustainable practice, the community has evolved beyond accountability alone. Dr. Flemming has developed its programming, facilitation practices, community agreements, and leadership structures to foster meaningful relationships, shared responsibility, and belonging alongside participants' work.

Now part of At the Pace of Love™, Accountability With Care reflects her broader approach to community building: creating structures that support both what people are working toward and who they are becoming.
